MNIT Innovation and Incubation Centre, in collaboration with JECRC Incubation Centre and supported by Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RREC), recently concluded the highly anticipated Energy Taskmaster Hackathon. This event, held from March 27 to March 30, 2024, aimed to foster innovation across various sectors including Industry, Transportation, Domestic Appliances, Building Envelope & Lighting, AIR Conditioning, and Renewable Energy. It attracted participation from twenty-two teams representing colleges across Rajasthan. The hackathon provided a platform for aspiring innovators to showcase their ground-breaking ideas aimed at addressing pressing energy challenges. After a rigorous selection process, eight teams were shortlisted and further mentored to present their solutions in front of an esteemed jury panel on March 30, 2024. The distinguished jury comprised Prof. Monica Sharma, Prof. Amar Patnaik, Dr. Vivekanand, and Dr. Sanjay Gaur, who brought a wealth of expertise to evaluate the presentations. Following insightful presentations and intense deliberation, the results of the hackathon were announced. The winning teams were as follows: • First Position: Team " RapidRack Battery Tester" • Second Position: Team " Electro mechanism breaking system" • Third Position: Team " Gaumayaa" These winning teams demonstrated exceptional creativity, ingenuity, and problem-solving skills in their presentations, earning well-deserved recognition for their efforts. The success of the Energy Taskmaster Hackathon was further underscored by the generous support extended by Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd.
