Expert Talk with Padma Shri Prof. Anil Gupta of IIIM Ahmedabad at MIIC

MNIT Innovation And Incubation Centre in association with State Innovation Council, DST, Government of Rajasthan organized an Expert talk with Padma Shri Prof. Anil Gupta on 9th-April-2018, Mr. Gupta is a globally renowned scholar in the area of grassroots innovations. He is the founder of Honey Bee Network and is a professor at the Indian Institute of Managements, Ahmedabad. Also, he is the Executive vice chairman of National Innovation Foundation and a fellow of the world academy of art and science. The topic for the talk was ‘Spread, Search, Celebrate, Inclusive Innovations and Resolve the Unmet Social Needs: Creating an agile ecosystem for frugal innovations’ More than 200 students from different colleges of Rajasthan participated in the talk. The focus of the session is to provide background information about the grassroots innovations and protection of their intellectual property rights. He also shared his knowledge of amalgamation of formal and informal science, ethical issues in conservation and prosperity of biodiversity.
