MNIT Innovation and Incubation Centre & Project Management Institute North India Chapter Infrastructure Project Management Workshop Venue: Mini Audi, Prabha Bhawan Date: 2nd November 2019 The Infrastructure Project Management Workshop was conducted by MIIC, MNIT Jaipur and PMI, North India Chapter, on 2nd November 2019 at Mini Auditorium, MNIT Jaipur. The august gathering had professionals with notable contributions to their profession, working in Private as well as Government Organization. The event started at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome to all the guests. The audience was greeted with the Lamp Lighting and the workshop was set in motion after the National Anthem. Dr.Dilip Sharma, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, MNIT Jaipur introduced the past and present of MNIT. Dr.Monica Sharma, Coordinator of MNIT Innovation And Incubation Centre, then enlightened the audience with the information pertaining the startup activities in MIIC.. She spoke at length about the incubation platform and the kind of entrepreneurship development opportunities MIIC is offering. Mr. Manoj K Gupta, President, PMI North India Chapter then took over to present about PMI, its work, certification and in turn the benefits of its operations. Following up with this, Mr. Deepak Sharma (Ex-VP DLF) started with his lecture on “Infrastructure Project Management”. Mr. Vinod Garg, a PMP himself and Regional Connect Ambassador, PMI NIC, gave his presentation on “Project Management tools in construction industry”. Both these lectures engaged the audience in discussions and were very well received. A networking interlude was followed by these sessions. The topic was“Current trends in Infrastructure Project Management”. The panel was chaired by six highly acclaimed professionals which includes Mr. AmitKakkar - Additional Chief Engineer, PWD Rajasthan, Mr. Sudhir Mathur – MEP Consultant Jaipur, Mr. Sanjay Gaur, Manager, MIIC MNIT Jaipur, Mr. Manish Agarwal – Sr. Vice President, IL&FS, Mr. Subhash Agarwal – Chairman & MD, GKB Group and Mr. TarunSoni - Management Sterlite India. The event was covered by media house in Jaipur.
